She has been an avid hiker and, after a 15 month effort, hiked all of the 48 mountains of New Hampshire with an elevation of 4000’ or over. Eleven years of near daily mountain hikes were enjoyed with her late rescue dog companion, Molly. Rowing her Adirondack Guide Boat “Pond Lily”on Keoka Lake with Molly on board was another past joy. In 2008, she reached a long-time goal of hiking the Grand Canyon from the North Rim to the South Rim. Today, Janet enjoys the shorter and less steep hikes in the Maine foothills & NH notches more than the 4000 footers in the “Whites” of NH. In real estate transactions her motto remains: We are not always responsible for the outcome, only for the integrity & honesty of the process.
